Leadership

Early in my career I worked around the world for the UN and Australian and US governments. I moved to Morgantown in 1997 and spent 20 years in the research Office and Medical School.

My first political involvement was canvassing for McGovern in 1972. I have been active with the Monongalia County Democratic Executive Committee since 2004. In 2017 I was president of Mountaineers for Progress when we conducted a successful lobbying effort to convince Manchin to vote to keep Obamacare. After that I was chair of WV Working Families Party and helped elect many progressive candidates in Monongalia County, including current delegates Evan Hansen and John Williams.
